It’s National Apprenticeship Week!

National Apprenticeship Week is here!

This week is the 15th annual National Apprenticeship Week 2022, celebrating apprentices across England from February 7-13. The theme this year is ‘Build the Future’, focusing on the benefits of apprenticeships for individuals, organisations and local communities.

The ‘Build the Future’ theme will showcase the talents of apprentices who are building the skills and knowledge they need to have a rewarding career and highlight how apprenticeships can help businesses develop a talented and skilled workforce.

Apprenticeships at MJD

As part of National Apprenticeship Week we would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our newest apprentice Connor Pickett, Connor joined MJD back in January and has been busy working at Bristol Business Park and The Old Rectory in Frome whilst studying at SGS Filton College on Wednesdays. Here’s what Connor had to say…

“It’s great to be part of the MJD team, I am really enjoying working whilst I study. I am also getting paid to do it, I would recommend to anyone.”

Over the last decade the MJD Group have taken on over 15 apprentices many of which have grown to become key members of the MJD team. We believe that hiring an apprentice is a productive and effective way to grow talent and develop a motivated, skilled, and qualified workforce.

At MJD we are passionate about our people and looking after the future generation of talent. As a business that has been offering apprenticeships for over a decade, we are proud to support National Apprenticeship Week!
