Scope of works

New care facility which involved part demolition, refurbishment and extension across 3 buildings, HRH The Princess Royal opened this new facility that will specialise in dementia and complex needs for people with learning disabilities.

MJD were responsible for the full design, supply, installation and commissioning of the following services:

Plant room, comprising of Vaillant 65KW system boiler, Smart line TT320 hot water unvented cylinder, Vaillant WH95 low loss header, Grunfos Alpha2 and UPS2 pumps and Vaillant VRC630/3 boiler management system.
Zoned heating system, comprising of Stelrad low surface temperature (LST) radiators.
Vaillant VR90 room zone control and Vaillant VR60 mixer module.
Hot and cold water systems with secondary return main and pump.
Specialist and disabled sanitary ware equipment, including new soil and vent system.
External cast iron rain water works.
Vent Axia ventilation and heat recovery system.
