Scope of works

MJD are pleased to have been involved in the refurbishment and extension of Kingswood School, fusing the historic building with a modern extension to create new and improved living quarters. The project run by John Perkins Construction consists of 26 bedrooms, plus bathrooms and ample social space, all completed to a high spec finish.

MJD were responsible for the full design, supply, installation and commissioning of all mechanical works including:

2no Vailliant eco tec plus wall mounted system boilers, with a combined output of 110kws connected to low loss header servicing a new boarding house & existing boarding house.
Stelrad Compact radiators complete with Danfoss thermostatic and lock-shield valves fitted throughout.
Hot and cold water services to sanitary ware fed from 1no Andrews EC230/960 water heater.
Ventilation system, consisting of Vent Axia Quadra SELB low carbon fans.
