This exciting project involved building a new state of the art kennel block with vet rooms, grooming rooms, assessment rooms and bespoke peaceful spaces for rescued dogs and puppies. The construction included underfloor heating, specialist finishes to walls, and individual outdoor ‘paddocks’ to keep the dogs safe and happy.

MJD were responsible for the design, supply, install and commissioning of all new mechanical & electrical services in the new block, including extending incoming services from adjacent buildings and a new heat recovery system to keep constant temperatures for the animals.

Communication was key to completing this project, when working around vulnerable animals ensuring smooth operation is essential.
