St Paul Girls School, is a top tier independent day school situated in West London .

MJD were selected to undertake a comprehensive package of mechanical works at one of the UK’s most prestigious independent schools in the UK—an institution renowned for academic excellence, heritage, and forward thinking education.

The project was part of a broader refurbishment and expansion programme aimed at modernising the school’s infrastructure while maintaining its historic charm.

Throughout the project we were responsible for the all the mechanical works involved, including: –

Heating Services
Ventilation
Ambient heating Network
Dual pressure water system
Chilled Water
Sanitaryware
Insulation
Design
Above ground drainage
Reducing carbon emissions

Systems were designed to provide heating or cooling to individual zones without the capability to balance thermal loads dynamically across multiple areas.

Due to the complex design limitations with existing technology MJD embarked on R&D efforts to develop new integration strategies, control systems, and design practices that could support the successful implementation of an ambient loop heat pump system in the UK.

This was a fantastic project to be a part of , it exemplifies MJD’s ability to deliver complex mechanical works in sensitive environments.
