Scope of works

MJD were commissioned by John Perkins Construction to carry out all of the mechanical works involved in building a new 6th form centre with high-quality facilities that will provide a flexible new space for the sixth formers.

Following this great project the whole build team then negotiated the contract for phase 2, which was for a new SEND building (Special Educational Needs and Disability).

MJD Supplied, installed and commissioned all new mechanical systems including underfloor heating throughout from new plant room, domestic and above ground drainage to WC & kitchen areas along with ventilation systems comprising local extract vent, MVHR systems and roof mounted natural ventilation units to classrooms. New gas and water services were also extended from the existing school.
