Scope of works

This project involved a complete strip out and refurbishment of the mechanical systems within Red Bus Nursery’s beautiful Grade II listed building meeting the industry standards for nurseries. Following this great project MJD are now fulfilling the facilities maintenance contact for all Red Bus Nursery buildings in Bristol.

MJD were responsible for the full design, supply, installation and commissioning of all mechanical works including:

Plant room, comprising of Vaillant 65KW system boiler, Smart line TT320 hot water unvented cylinder, Vaillant WH95 low loss header, Grunfos Alpha2 & UPS2 pumps and Vaillant VRC630/3 boiler management system.
Zoned heating system, comprising of Stelrad low surface temperature (LST) radiators.
Vaillant VR90 room zone control and Vaillant VR60 mixer module.
Hot and cold water systems with secondary return main and pump.
Specialist and disabled sanitary ware equipment, including new soil and vent system.
External cast iron rain water works.
Vent Axia ventilation and heat recovery system.
